Big Al

This is the best session if you cannot fathom anything but the fullest graduate photo experience. We'll hit all the beautiful and traditional campus photo spots, as well as locations that are sentimental to you! I've had clients add on their college building, greek chapter house, or the library you spent all your time in.
What is included:
- 90 Minute Session - perfect for 4-5 locations for an individual OR 3 -4 locations for a group!
- Can be split by up to 10 grads (additional time available as add-on to include more friends!)
- 100 edited images (and potentially bonus images!)
- Social Media Rights
- Print Rights to print whenever and wherever
- Opportunity to purchase prints directly through your personal online gallery
- Final images available in 1 week!

Lil Al
$599
This session is the most booked option by MKC clients! We'll hit all of the well loved spots on campus to give you that classic grad session with a little bit of sparkle sprinkled in. Great for single grads and small friend groups!
What is included:
- 60 Minute Session - perfect for 2-3 locations for an individual OR 1-2 locations for a group!
- 70 edited images
- Social Media Rights (if you have questions about print rights, head to the FAQ at the bottom of the page!)
- Opportunity to purchase prints directly through your personal online gallery
- Final images available in 2 weeks!

Matthew Wood
Matthew is a professional photographer for The University of Alabama, and one of the biggest people-persons I have ever met. With over a decade as a full-time photographer, Matthew knows his way around the camera and makes his subject feel comfortable and confident with clear directions and all the positive reassurance. A graduate of Delta State University, Matthew is Mississippi born and raised! His goofy personality and attention to detail makes him an amazing photographer and person to be around!
Sarah Pennington
Sarah is a transplanted Yankee, having moved to Tuscaloosa from Michigan in 2014. She has been shooting professionally for 5 years, with a focus on families, newborns, seniors and grads. One of the most common pieces of feedback she receives is that she puts her clients at ease right away. She finds it tough to be serious, and is always working to keep the people around her feeling lighthearted and stress-free, too. She fell in love with portrait photography when she realized that she can capture those feelings and give them back to her clients as visible evidence of their confidence and beauty. (She's also a dog-lover, so if you're considering bringing your pup... do it!)
Hannah Grenier
Hannah is a 2018 graduate from The University of Alabama (and a former MKC Grad herself!) who lived in Boston after graduation but is now back here in Tuscaloosa working on taking her photography business full time. She has been shooting professionally for about a year, focusing on graduates, couples and intimate weddings. Hannah loves to meet new people and will make you feel like you’ve known each other for years, she has a way of making her clients feel confident and comfortable! She loves capturing movement and emotion so expect to laugh and move a lot during a session with her.
Kelsey Murrell
Kelsey is a Carolinas girl turned Alabama resident after moving to Tuscaloosa during the pandemic. She has been passionate about photography for over a decade and has been pursuing it professionally for about a year, focusing on weddings, families, and grads. Having taught several undergraduate classes at the University of Alabama, she loves being on campus and working with grads to commemorate this celebratory time. Sessions with Kelsey are easygoing, and she loves giving compliments and instilling confidence in the people she photographs.

Session FAQ
How long is each session?
We offer a 60 minute session and a 90 minute session, and you can also add on more time if you need it!
How much do the sessions cost?
With MK:
60 Minutes (Lil Al) - $599
90 Minutes (Big Al) - $999
With any of the associate team:
60 Minutes (Lil Al) - $499
90 Minutes (Big Al) $849
A $100 retainer holds your spot for each of these sessions, and will be billed upon booking! This also counts towards your total, so the price you see is the price you get!
So can I shoot with my friends?
Obviously! The 60 and 90 minute sessions can be split with friend groups at no additional cost! Please note the 60 minute session is limited to 5 people, and the 90 minute session is limited to 10. If needed, we can add more time to make sure all of your friends are at your shoot! More friends = more fun = more floating confetti, and nothing is better than more confetti.
Please note that the more friends you bring along, we may not be able to visit as many locations. For example, 1 grad can typically visit 3 locations in a one hour session, but 5 friends may only have time for 1 or 2!
When can I get my photos?
1-2 weekends depending on your package, but you can also add on rush editing to Lil Al package!
What if the weather is bad on our original date?
Here's the deal, I know you can't control the weather any more than I can. I will notify you 24 hours before your shoot if it looks like we'll have to reschedule for rain, temperatures over 95 degrees or under 35 degrees, or winds over 14 mph. I save dates specifically for weather reschedules, so you will always have a spot.
Can I print my photos?
Absolutely!
With the Lil Al package, you can either order prints directly through your final gallery after it is delivered to you (they come from my favorite print shop, are affordable, and are high quality) OR you can purchase print rights as $500 add on to your package!
If you book the Big Al session, print rights are included in your session, and print quality images are provided in your final gallery! If you just like the convenience of it, you can still order straight through your gallery!
