Let's be friends!

Ripped jeans, flowey tops, and green houses (the kind that hold plants, and also just houses painted green, I'm not picky) give me all the good vibes, and if I can't be exploring some exciting new place, I'm in my room editing my last shoot, curled up next to my pup Moose and kitten Lou. They're really the backbone of MKC Photography and carry all the weight around here.

Beyond the basic "I love to travel, eat pizza, and sit in cute coffee shops," the thing to know about me is I'm wild about my job. Working with outstanding people, photographing beautiful memories, and sharing those with the kindest community make my day, and I don't think I could ask for a better job.

So here's a little bit about me:

I am an award-winning photographer from Alabama. From working in news rooms, to covering events and sports at The University of Alabama, to leading teams of journalists through foreign countries collecting travel magazine content, I've been in nearly every scenario and always come out with a story worth telling (and the photos to prove it.)

I picked up a camera over a decade ago, and every move forward in my life has happened with a camera in my hand. I've traveled the world, seen friends celebrate huge milestones, told my family's story, and worked with hundreds of outstanding individuals turning to the next chapter in their own story.

As cheesy as that sounds, it's what I love to do. I couldn't see myself doing anything else and being truly happy.
